This year, the Yokohama Christmas Market at the Red Brick Warehouse is set to captivate visitors with an authentic German atmosphere. This magical market offers a festive ambiance, brimming with delightful attractions and a true spirit of Christmas.

Entry to this enchanting celebration costs 500 yen for adults, yet children up to high school age can join the festivities for free. Downloading the official event app provides visitors the benefit of reduced entry fees, making the joyous occasion accessible to all.

What to Expect at the Market

At the core of the market, the main venue showcases a 10-meter tall Christmas tree illuminated in colors that shift with the time of day. It doesn’t stop there! The marketplace is brimming with German delights, ranging from delectable cuisine to charming Christmas goods, including unique, German-designed mugs exclusive to the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. Visitors can also luxuriate in the new “Premium Lounge” for a cozy and welcoming experience.

The heartwarming “Illumination Garden,” with its radiant display, is set up for all to relish, adorned with illuminated animals that transport you to a Christmas forest ambiance.

How to Get to the Yokohama Christmas Market

The Yokohama Christmas Market is conveniently situated at the Red Brick Warehouse in the city center. Visitors can reach it via public transport. From Yokohama Station, use the Minato Mirai Line to Bashamichi Station (10 minutes walk), Minatomirai Station (12 minutes walk), or JR Sakuragicho Station (15 minutes walk).
